Detroit native, songwriter and singer DALIN infuses Motown, funk, Electronic, and vintage into unique collage pop. Working in different genres, each release has been a journey into different sonic concepts and storytelling. The latest release, Tell Me Everything, is a collection of dance pop inspired by the LA D.J. scene. YOU LOOK GOOD produced in Brooklyn, NYC grew from workshop performances in the Bushwick art/cabaret performance scene. It features collaborations with Will Sheridan, Charlie Sheena, Monique Renee, Bpro Sounds, Chris Cochrane, and Jeremy Page (Kendra Morris.) Together was a production collaboration with arranger and jazz performer Matt Ray, who works with Bridget Everette, Justin Vivian Bond and other downtown performers in the Joes Pub scene in NYC. Cities That You Seek, was a low-fi collection of odes to simple 60’s singer/songwriter pop, rough but grand. Currently focusing on songwriting, look for new music in a range of styles; Thats DALIN style.
